Green Boho Dresser ~ art nouveau style dresser done in copper patina & rusted iron

   This tall boho dresser has a patina finish. Painted in copper, all green hues have been achieved through the paint’s oxidizing process. This antique dresser makes an eye catching addition to any bedroom.

~ Refinishing Process ~

   The dresser has been sanded down & then painted with copper & iron, oxidizing paints. A rust accelerator has then been applied to the painted portions of the dresser. The rust accelerator reacts to the metal particles within the paint, creating a patina, rust finish on the wood. 

   The entire dresser has been sealed, inside & out,  with a clear coat finish for added durability.

   The dresser has all of its original hardware. The drawer pulls have been done in a rusted iron finish to match the dresser frame. The drawer sides have been accented with distressed lace detailing, (only visible when drawers are open.) There are six drawers, one of which is sectioned off on the inside, into two parts, as shown in the photos.

   The back of the dresser frame has been done with the same iron finish as the front & sides. Placed against a wall or as a stand alone piece in the middle of the room, this dresser looks great from any angle.
