~ Refinishing Process ~

   This vintage desk set has been sanded down & stained. The desk’s solid wood frame has been hand painted in distressed moss green hues with rusted iron undertones.

   The desk has honeycomb & tiny bees burnt into it’s stained wood tabletop & drawer faces. The honeycomb & tiny bees have been accentuated with iridescent golden hues. These iridescent accents give the honeycomb & bees a glowing effect when the sunlight hits them.

   All wood burned accents on this desk & matching chair were done freehand in order to allow for the design to better compliment the set’s natural structure.

   The desk has solid cast iron, art nouveau style drawer pulls with floral detailing.

   Made entirely of solid wood, this is a rustic vintage desk set. While it’s smooth to the touch, the chips & dings in it’s wood have been left visible to add to the desk’s weathered appearance. The entire desk set has been sealed with a clear coat finish, from top to bottom, for added durability.
