   This solid pine, vintage dresser has been newly refinished in real, rusted copper patina. The dresser has ornate wood carved detailing, curved drawer faces & all original hardware. This boho style dresser makes the perfect eye-catching addition to any room in your home.

~ Refinishing Process ~

   The dresser has been sanded down, stained & then painted with antique copper & iron, oxidizing paints. A rust accelerator has then been applied to the painted portions of the dresser. The rust accelerator reacts to the metal, copper & iron, particles within the paint, creating a rusted patina finish on the wood. There was no blue or green paint used on the exterior of this dresser. The colors were achieved through the paint’s oxidizing process. The finish is actual patina rusted copper & real rusted iron. 

   The dresser’s tabletop, drawer faces & side panels have been done in a light stained wood finish to accentuate the natural wood grain.

   The ornate drawer pulls & decorative keyhole escutcheons have a weathered finish that compliments the dresser’s frame. *Please be aware that this is not a locking dresser as there are no actual keyholes. The escutcheons are purely decorative.

   The entire dresser has been sealed with a final, clear coat, inside & out, for added durability.

   The pictures really don’t do this piece justice. There’s so much depth in color to the patina finish that we just weren’t able to capture in most of the photos here. The finish also has a rusted texture to it while the dresser top & drawer faces are super, super smooth.
