Farmhouse Dressing Table ~ antique dresser with original locks & skeleton key

   This boho style farmhouse dressing table comes with it’s original antique mirror & a matching skeleton key. The locking chest of drawers & mirror frame have been done in a patina finish. Painted with an metallic copper paint, all green hues on this dresser were achieved through the paint’s oxidizing process.

~ Refinishing Process ~

   The dresser has been sanded down, stained & then painted with a copper oxidizing paint. A rust accelerator has then been applied to the copper painted portions of the dresser. The rust accelerator reacts to the metal particles within the paint creating a patina, rust finish on the wood.

  The entire dresser has been sealed with a clear coat finish, inside & out, for added durability.
   The dresser’s top & bottom drawer faces have been done with boho style lace accents. The floral drawer pulls have been done in a rusted finish to match the dresser’s frame.

   This dressing table is a genuine antique that has been newly refinished & restored. The bottom drawer, on the underside of the very back portion, (not visible unless you pull the drawer out completely & turn it over), has been mended so that the drawer sits evenly as the wood had previously been worn away. 

   The distressed antique mirror attaches to the back of the dresser’s frame. While this dresser is sold as a set with the mirror included, the mirror can also be easily removed if you prefer the dresser without it.
