   This farmhouse style desk has been painted & distressed, entirely by hand, in shabby chic red & stained wood, for an extremely rustic look with a smooth to the touch finish. The reclaimed wood vintage desk was handmade & is constructed from solid pine.

~ Refinishing Process ~

   This red roll top desk & matching chair have both been painted & distressed, entirely by hand, giving this set a very rustic look with a smooth to the touch finish.

   The desktop & drawer faces have been stained to bring out the natural wood grain. The desk trim & matching chair have both been done in distressed red with rusted, copper undertones over stained solid wood. The matching chair has floral detailing, carved into the upper portion of the chair back.

   The entire set has been sealed, inside & out, with a clear coat finish for added durability.

   The desk has four smooth sliding drawers with antique, patina rusted drawer pulls. The larger drawer has an antique, patina rusted backplate & the smaller drawers have metal corner accents. The drawers have been painted in a matching red hue on the insides & the drawer’s side panels have been accented with a vintage lace pattern in a rusted copper hue.

   This farmhouse style vintage desk has tons of character. The very solid pine desk was originally handmade in Venice Beach, California. Due to having been handmade, the desk has tiny imperfections throughout the solid pine used to construct it. These imperfections have been intentionally left visible to add to the desk’s rustic, weathered look.
