This Bombe style solid wood vintage dresser has been newly refinished in real, rusted copper, patina. The dresser has ornate wood carved detailing, curved drawer faces & all original hardware. This boho style dresser makes the perfect eye-catching addition to any room in your home.

~ Refinishing Process ~

   The dresser has been sanded down, stained & then painted with antique copper & iron, oxidizing paints. A rust accelerator has then been applied to the painted portions of the dresser. The rust accelerator reacts to the metal, copper & iron, particles within the paint, creating a rusted patina finish on the wood. There was no green paint used on the exterior of this dresser. The colors were achieved through the paint’s oxidizing process. The finish is actual patina, rusted copper & real rusted iron. The entire dresser has been sealed with a final clear coat, inside & out, for added durability. 

   The dresser also has a secret hiding place for cash or other small valuables. The small, metal box has been refinished in a rusted copper to match the underlying, copper hues in the dresser’s exterior finish. The box attaches to the upper, inside portion of the dresser with magnets that are fixed to the body of the dresser itself, just above the top drawer.

   The dresser has all of its original antique hardware. The drawer pulls have been done in a patina rusted finish to match the dresser frame. The dresser’s drawer faces & tabletop have been done in stained wood & accented with distressed floral, paisley lace detailing.

   The pictures really don’t do this piece justice. There’s so much depth in color to the patina finish that we just weren’t able to capture in most of the photos here. The finish also has a rusted texture to it while the dresser top & drawer faces are super, super smooth.
