    The bench has a heart shaped cubby hidden underneath the back, bottom portion of the bench seat. There are also three key hooks. The patina rusted, antique key hooks are hidden underneath the front portion of the bench seat. While they are all easily reachable, you would never know they were there without knowing where to look.

   This bench is also on wheels! Making it perfect for rolling from one room to another for extra seating while still feeling very secure & in no way wobbly when you sit. The wheels are screwed into the bottom of the legs & can be removed if you would prefer it without them.

~ Refinishing Process ~

   This farmhouse style bench seat has been sanded & painted in various green & blue hues. It has then been sanded & distressed a second time to reveal the various layers of color & underlying wood grain. The entire bench has then been sealed, from top to bottom, with a child & pet safe clear coat finish for added durability.

   There are two small bird accents that have been added to the front of the backrest & one small bird on the front, bottom portion of the bench seat. There is also a small tree on the back, bottom corner of the bench. These added accents have all been distressed to perfection to compliment the bench seat’s weathered finish.
