~ Refinishing Process ~

   These vintage nightstands have been sanded down to a smooth finish & stained in golden oak. The frames have been painted in distressed moss green hues with rusted iron undertones.

   The nightstands have honeycomb & tiny bees burnt into the stained wood portions. The honeycomb & tiny bees have been accentuated with iridescent golden hues. These iridescent accents give the honeycomb & bees a glowing effect when the sun hits them.

   The wood burnt accents on these nightstands were done freehand in order to allow for the designs to better compliment each piece’s natural structure. 

   Each nightstand has cast iron scrolls with ornate oak tree leaf designs built into the front of their solid wood cabinet door faces. 

   The nightstands have been sealed, inside & out, with a clear coat finish for added durability.
